Elton Leung is the founder of GreenBulb, a Hong Kong design company that creates innovative lifestyle consumer products. His designs have been exhibited at international trade shows such as GIFTEX in Japan, Ambiente in Germany, CES in the US, and have been featured in leading tech media such as The Verge, Engadget, PC Magazine, Cult of Mac and more.

 

Trained as a mechanical engineer at the University of Toronto, Canada with a Masters in Computer Science from the City University of Hong Kong, his products promote a fusion of mechanics, electronics and programming. The ingenuity of his products have earned him awards both at home (The Hong Kong Smart Gift Design Awards) and internationally (“Bronze Award “ at the Tapei International Invention Show and Technomart, and “Best in Gaming Category” on IndieGoGo).

 

In additional to being a inventor, patent owner and product designer, Elton also shares his knowledge and passion in product design and entrepreneurship at the Hong Kong Design Institute, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, and at HKTDC design seminars in Hong Kong and China.
